Aims & objectives
The aims and objectives of the Association shall be:
To represent and promote the exercise of residents’ rights to ensure they have fair access to housing services and other services that will benefit all residents.
In partnership with H&F, to promote the social, environmental and economic wellbeing and interests of all residents living in the area being represented.
To promote social activities for recreation and enjoyment, and encourage a community spirit and sense of responsibility.
To work with H&F to ensure that communication with, and information for, residents is clear, accessible, relevant, timely and appropriate to their diverse needs.
To promote an awareness and understanding of the H&F Defend Council Homes Policy amongst residents.
To take into account the views of young people who are not old enough to be voting members.
To operate in a non-sectarian way (not affiliated with any particular religious or political belief).

New TRA constitution
On 24 June 2024 the TRA adopted the Council's new TRA constitution template. The aims of the new template was set out at the meeting of the Housing Representatives Forum on 21 May 2024 (view slides).
