Aims & objectives

The aims and objectives of the Association shall be:

• To represent and promote the exercise of residents’ rights to ensure they have fair access to housing services and other services that will benefit all residents.

• In partnership with H&F, to promote the social, environmental and economic wellbeing and interests of all residents living in the area being represented.

• To promote social activities for recreation and enjoyment, and encourage a community spirit and sense of responsibility.

• To work with H&F to ensure that communication with, and information for, residents is clear, accessible, relevant, timely and appropriate to their diverse needs.

• To promote an awareness and understanding of the H&F Defend Council Homes Policy amongst residents.

• To take into account the views of young people who are not old enough to be voting members.

• To operate in a non-sectarian way (not affiliated with any particular religious or political belief).
